Valentine's Day was a tad bitter sweet, for reasons I'll refrain from extolling. Though the weekend ended up being a better time than envisioned. The highlights were as follows...
Gluten free mac and cheese at Liam's in U Village paired with a champagne cocktail.
A room with a view of Lake Union and the Space Needle. So I am occasionally lucky and do win things every now and again. Most recently was a free overnight stay at a hotel in Seattle that I frequent.
Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" tour performed at the Neptune theater, which boasts an "under the sea" vibe.
I had to hit up the merch table for a pair of Meghan's trademark lips. The band Sheppard opened and they know how to put on a show.
Meghan was as adorable as expected and her costumes top notch. The demographic at the show was definitely skewed to the tween set and made me feel INCREDIBLY old.
The weekend closed with macarons from Le Panier at Pike Place and a dozen magenta roses.
