Say it ain't so.

I reluctantly admit this because Summer is my favorite of seasons. But I've certainly noticed a slight shift in weather up here in the Northwest. The sun is setting earlier and the leaves are starting to fall. Thankfully though Washington is more often than not graced with an Indian Summer. Here's hoping this year is no different.

Leading Lady

If you're on the prowl for a final beach read of the summer season, might I suggest Mindy Kaling's, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? For those not in the know, Mindy Kaling not only portrayed Kelly Kapoor on The Office, she was also a writer on the show. After the completion of The Office she has since moved on to her own show The Mindy Project, one of the few remaining scripted shows I still bother with. IEHOWM is a quick twitteresque read that you will not want to put down. The memoir is full of Mindyisms that you too will soon be incorporating into your lexicon.

     

I brought this gem with me to Savannah and it kept me entertained on the dreadfully long Northwest to Southeast flight.
