It's fitting that Emerald was named Pantone's color of the year. This selection happens to be especially meaningful to me as it's my birthstone along with being a complimentary color with my coloring (as any redhead will attest). Not only is the stone itself striking, but the hue is as appealing in fashion as it is in home decor.
