What do you get when you pair a modern girl from the streets of Queens with a food purist from the hills of Tuscany? The television show Extra Virgin, featuring Debi Mazar (glamourpuss actress) and her husband Gabriele Corcos (chef and musician with a swoon worthy accent). Actually the concept for the show originated on their blog Under the Tuscan Gun (started 5 years ago), where the duo created their own webisodes in their humble yet charming West Hollywood kitchen. They knew they wanted to share their adoration of Tuscan cuisine with people, and what better way to do so than to DIY. Eventually though, as happens with a clever concept, the webisodes turned into a full blown television show on the Cooking Channel. We're just three episodes into the season, so you can still catch this gem of show early enough on.

Might I add that I'm loving Debi's reverse french tip manicure, which you're shown a glimpse of when she turns on the over. Must try to replicate.
