Horses, mint juleps, AND flowers, today just might be the highlight of the month. Happy May Day and Kentucky Derby Day! May just happens to be my favorite month of the year, not only because it's my Birthday month, but also because of the fact that the weather seems to be the perfect temperature no matter where in the country I've resided during the month. Not to mention that blooming flowers seem to abound in May. This month is packed to the gills plans. Plans include but are not limited to: SCAD Style lectures (Hamish Bowles being the highlight), a trip to Disney World (contrasts and comparisons will be made), a Sand Gnats game or two, an entire week off from work, a SCAD fashion show honoring Diane Von Furstenberg, the premier of Sex and the City 2 (it's all about Aidan), a fashion show at the Jepson, the beach at Tybee Island (see The Last Song? That's where I'll be), a French Connection trunk show at Custard boutique, a facial and or a hot stone massage at Savannah's new Spa Bleu, SCADs surprise guest Alumni Concert at Forsyth Park, and much much more.
