Back in May I twittered (twitted?) about my refrigerator breaking. "Is it odd that when I found out my fridge broke what I was most worried about perishing is inedible? A tube of discontinued Chanel lipstick." The shade, metal garnet, was discontinued several years ago. I'd been storing my spare tube in the refrigerator, having heard this prolongs the shelf life of makeup. I then received a message from @ThreeCustom with a link to the Three Custom website. Here's what they're all about: "stop searching for "something close" to your cherished shades - we can produce discontinued shades for the Lips, Cheeks, Eyes & Face or help you create your own from scratch! All formulas remain in our personal files for easy re-ordering." Hallelujah. No breaking down in sobs when I use up my last tube of metal garnet. I checked and my shade is already in their system.
