Ibiza or bust

This years pick for "cheap chic sandal of summer" is Miss Trish of Capri's gold lion sandals for Target.  Trish Carroll’s flagship store originated as a cabana in the Hamptons in 2002.  The original line of sandals are evocative of jet set 1960’s socialites and Hollywood starlets.  Her lower priced sandals, $29.99 as opposed to $500, are just as scrumptious and don't set you back the price of a plane ticket or two.  Of the particular pair that I purchased, the lion head doesn't look gaudy or cheap and the faux leather could easily pass as a fine Italian leather.  Here's a tip though, buy 1/2 a size smaller than you normally would wear.  The sandals are only available until July 5th, so go grab a pair for your July 4th celebration.
