Set Sale

It really does pay to wait for a sale rather than purchase an item the moment it crosses your radar.  I've been stalking this pair of Cole Haan Genevieve Wedge shoes for months online.  When I saw them in person in Vegas, I knew I had to have them, but I forced myself to wait and see if they went on sale.  Patience paid off last week when I received an Email from Neiman Marcus notifying me about a one day 40% off sale on select Cole Haan shoes and purses.  My shoes just happened to among the chosen.  Then there's this other pair of Kate Spade Idonia sandals I'd been stalking in person at a local boutique.  Not willing to pay full price I'd being using Google shopping to check and see if I could find them on sale anywhere online.  Patience again paid off when a week after I started my search I found them 40% off at Nordstrom.  Obviously the recession hasn't stopped me from shopping completely.  I'm just trying to be smarter and more thoughtful about what I'm purchasing.
