Come what May

I'm going to be MIA for a week or so.  My Mom is coming to visit for my Birthday (which takes place on the 12th of May) and I have a whole week off from work.  Much excitement will ensue while she's here.  I'll be back with a summary of the week and pictures, of course.  Until then!

The long and the short of it

Tickets went on sale today at 10:00am for the 2007 SCAD student fashion show, where Marc Jacobs will receive the André Leon Talley Lifetime Achievement Award from André Leon Talley himself.  Apparently everyone is Savannah will be in attendance, but me.  I started calling the box office at 10:00am on the dot. After receiving a busy signal and hitting redial numerous times I finally got through at 10:15am only to be informed that the tickets were sold out.  Such a disappointment.  And yes, I can probably find tickets on Craigslist going for triple the price, but I'm so not going that route.  Rather I'll be at my computer watching the live webcast.
