I'm jetting off to London + Paris next week for a sublime 10 days. The next few days will be taken up with packing, working, finalizing plans, and sleepless nights due to excitement. See you upon my return!
Appropriately enough, the theme of June's Birchbox is Jet Set. Items from my box have already made their way into my suitcase. Included in my June box was a Tibi "ziploc" bag, in which two items from my Birchbox made the Europe beauty product cut; Likewise Facial Moisturizer + Sun Protectant and Stainiac Lip Gloss + Blush.
Ten days out from my sojourn to Europe and I'm already getting into the "going on holiday" mindset. I've got Chanel's Le Vernis Holiday polish on my toes. The shade is very reminiscent of Pantone's color of the year "Tangerine Tango". This vibrant orange will definitely be my go to polish this summer.
My trip to London falls after the momentous celebration of the The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Here's hoping the festivities and frivolity surrounding the event continue through the month. I've got my eye on some celebratory souvenirs. I'm looking at you, "All Hail the Queen" Ladurée macarons and "I ♔ Liz" tees.
Oddly enough one of the sights I'm most eager to experience while in London, is the London Eye. Or perhaps I should rephrase that thought. I'm most eager to experience the sights of London via the London Eye. It takes my ferris wheel adoration to new levels. Unfortunately though I may be having the experience solo as my traveling companion is afraid of heights.
When women support each other, incredible things happen.
This month I'm crushing on
Mr. Pink Rosé And Why Am I Mr Pink Mr Pink Rosé by Underground Wine Project is back for its second vintage. A Collaboration between Mark Ryan Winery and Sleight of Hand Cellars. Bright and fruity, with just a hint of sweetness. The nose has the essence of orange blossoms and nectarines, while the palate shows flavors of watermelon, grapefruit, and strawberry yogurt. Do stock up or be sorry!
